  1. The Promoter

This competition is organised and run by Trends Day To Day (“The Promoter”), hosted on our official Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages.

  1. Eligibility

    • The competition is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older. And must be able to collect their prize at “Trends Day To Day. Located at 382 WF Nkomo (Church) street, Pretoria West.
    • Employees, directors, agents, and immediate family members of Trends Day To Day or Kana’s Wholesalers are not eligible to enter.
    • Void where prohibited by law.

  1. Competition Period

    • The competition opens on 14 August and closes at 23:59 on 7 September 2026.
    • Entries submitted outside this window will not be counted.

  1. How to Enter

To enter the competition across Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok:

    1. Show off your “Trends Treasure“—a photo or video featuring an item purchased from our physical store or online store.
    2. Post your photo or video to your public feed or story on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
    3. Tag our official handle (@trendsdaytoday) in your post.
    4. Tag one (1) friend in your post or comment section.
    • The more creative the video or unboxing, the better your chance of winning.
    • Note: Your social media account/profile must be set to Public for the duration of the competition so we can verify your entry. Multiple entries are allowed if showcasing different items.

  1. Prizes & Prize Substitution

    • There are four (4) individual prizes to be won, with a total combined prize pool value of R8,000.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Prize Substitution Clause: The Promoter reserves the right to change, modify, or replace any prize item with an alternative product of equal or equivalent monetary value should unforeseen circumstances or stock shortages arise.

  1. Winner Selection & Notification

    • Selection: Winners will be chosen by random draw by the 12 September 2026.
    • Notification: Winners will be notified directly via Direct Message (DM) on the platform through which they entered.
    • Claiming Prize: Winners must respond within 4 days of notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternate winner.

  1. Content Usage & Rights

By entering this competition, you grant Trends Day To Day a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to repost, share, and utilise your submitted photo/video content across our social media platforms, website, and marketing materials.

  1. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or TikTok. By participating, entrants fully release Instagram, Facebook, Meta, and TikTok from any liability or responsibility associated with this competition.

  1. General Rules & Limitations

    • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these rules without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or events outside its reasonable control.
    • Any personal data provided will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and our privacy policy.
